• Zimbabwe Electoral Commission Election Cycle Dashboard Design. We were commissioned by the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa to develop the election cycle dashboard for the ZEC.
  • Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa and UNDP continental conference on “Safeguarding Electoral Integrity in the Digital Age: Strategies for Combatting Digital Disinformation”: We provided technical input in the shaping of the programme for this conference and provided rapporteur support to the actual event in Cape Town.
  • Botswana 2019 General Elections: working in partnership with the Botswana Centre for Public Integrity (BCPI), we conceptualised an elections programme through which we facilitated dialogue between civil society, IEC Botswana and political parties. We enhanced the participation of key stakeholders in the electoral process. We also assembled and deployed Shalestone’s first Election Technical Observation Team to interface with the election management body during polling day.
  • SADC Parliamentary Forum (SADC PF): we have provided regular technical services to SADC PF on several issues. Some of our highlight assignments include:
  • Development of the SADC Model Law on Elections
  • Parliament of Zimbabwe and International IDEA High-Level Regional Policy Dialogue on Political Financing Systems and Election Dispute Resolution.
  • Electoral Commissions Forum of the SADC Countries (ECF-SADC) Resource Mobilisation: We have acted as the ECF-SADC resource mobilisation advisor for over 4 years during which time we have also developed funding proposals that have been funded by some donors. We have also conceptualised CEF-SADC’s past 3 annual general Conference (AGC) symposium themes and coordinated the symposia.
